Test Company Data Generator
Generate a complete company entity: name, industry, size, legal form, registered office, contact number, and the company registration and VAT numbers for that country. Use the same identity key to match the Identity, Address and Card pages exactly.
Generate a complete company entity: name, industry, size, legal form, registered office, contact number, and the company registration and VAT numbers for that country. Use the same identity key to match the Identity, Address and Card pages exactly.
Enter an identity key to see that person's company, or leave it blank for a new one.
About the virtual company
-
The company is part of the record, not a separate page
On one identity key, this company's name, industry and size are exactly the employer shown on the Identity page, and the registration and VAT numbers come from the same record.
-
The registered office is not the home address
The company has its own registered office, drawn from an independent stream. It follows the country's real address format and postcode rules, but it is not the person's address — in life, an employee does not live at their employer's registered office.
-
How real the numbers are
France's SIREN, Japan's corporate number, China's USCC and Brazil's CNPJ are generated by the official algorithm, so their check digits genuinely verify. The US EIN and the UK CRN have no published check digit, and the interface marks those as format only.
-
You can check them here
Every registration and VAT number can be pasted into the Validate page, which uses exactly the same algorithms as this one.
For software testing, form demos and data seeding only. Everything is synthesised and corresponds to no real company.
Reproducible output (identity key)
Every tool on this site shares one identity key, and the same key always points at the same person. Enter a key before generating and the name, address, ID number, employment and online profile come back exactly as they did last time — which is what lets an automated test pin a sample, and a bug report name the record it saw. The key is one you type or generate here; this site does not store it, it only feeds it to the generator locally.
What it is good for
- Form and signup-flow testing
- Fill a registration form with addresses, phone numbers and ID numbers in the local format, so required-field, length, charset and conditional validation can be exercised before any real data exists.
- A fixed sample for automated tests
- Put one identity key in the fixture and CI gets the same person on every run: assertions stay stable, and a failure can be reproduced from the key.
- Demo and prototype data
- Give a demo environment, a screenshot or a design file records that look real, instead of "John Doe / 123" placeholders.
- International layout and format checks
- German concatenated street names, CJK addresses written without separators, names carrying diacritics: exactly the inputs that make a layout truncate or shift.
Frequently asked questions
Is the data from Test Company Data Generator real?
No. Every field is synthesised by an algorithm and corresponds to no real person, address or account. It is intended for software testing, form demos and data seeding.
Can the output be reproduced?
Yes. The identity key determines every random draw, so the same key, country and gender always produce an identical record.
Does it need an account or a connection?
No account, and nothing is uploaded. Generation runs in your browser, and it keeps working offline once the page has loaded.
These answers describe what the site actually does. If something disagrees, the address in the footer reaches the maintainer.
Data format reference
Field names match the interface on this page; the format column keeps the generator's mask notation: # is a digit, A a letter, and … marks a value the algorithm supplies or a part carried over from real data.

- Virtual CardGenerate format-correct, Luhn-valid test card numbers for Visa, Mastercard, UnionPay and other networks. You can also paste a partial number and complete it. For software testing only.
- Virtual AddressGenerate a complete address in the real format of the country you pick: street, city, administrative division, postal code and phone number, all drawn from the same region so the fields agree with each other. Built for signup testing, form validation and international address display.
- Virtual CareerBuild a complete CV from the identity record: current role, past roles, education history, skills, and the real professional credentials for that industry and country. On the same identity key it matches the Identity page's qualification and job exactly.
- ValidatePaste a card number, an IBAN or a national ID and this page checks it with the exact algorithms the generators use, explaining every part it can. Where no checksum is published, it says "format only" rather than pretending the value passed.
These pages share one identity key: copy the key from any of them and the same record can be reproduced on the rest.
Is the generated data real?
No. Every field is synthesised by an algorithm running in this browser: nothing is looked up, no database is queried and no real person's details are used. It is reproducible — the same identity key always builds the same record. The formats follow the country's real conventions and the check digits pass wherever the country's published algorithm is implemented, but no record matches a real person, address or account, and none of it was issued or registered by anybody. That makes it suitable for form testing, demos and automated fixtures, and not a way to pass as someone else.
